At Dear Portraits, we want your portrait to reach you as quickly and safely as possible. Below you'll find everything you need to know about delivery, depending on what you ordered.
Digital Portraits (delivered electronically to your email)

Instant Delivery
Your digital portrait is delivered by email within minutes of purchase. If you don't receive it within 15 minutes, please check your spam, junk, and promotions folders before reaching out. -
File Format
Your portrait is delivered as a high-resolution digital file, suitable for personal printing at home or through a print lab. -
Worldwide Access
Digital downloads are available to customers worldwide. -
Please Note
By completing your purchase, you confirm that the email address provided is accurate belongs to you. Digital portraits are delivered immediately upon purchase and are non-refundable once the download link has been sent.

We offer free shipping on all canvas orders. No minimum order required. -
Where We Ship
πΊπΈ US orders are printed and shipped from within the United States.
π¨π¦ Canadian orders are printed and shipped from within Canada.

Review Before We Print
After your canvas order is placed, you will receive a complimentary high-resolution digital download of your portrait by email. You have 12 hours from the time of that delivery to review your portrait and contact us with any concerns. If we don't hear from you within that window, we will proceed to print and dispatch your order. -
Processing Time
Once your portrait enters production, please allow 2β5 business days for it to be carefully printed and prepared for shipment. Each canvas is custom-made just for you. -
Shipping Time
After your order ships, delivery typically takes an additional 2β5 business days within the US and Canada, or 5β10 business days for international orders. Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, peak periods, or other circumstances outside our control. -
Tracking
You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has shipped, so you can follow its journey to your door. Tracking is typically available within 3β5 business days of your order. -
Carriers
We ship via UPS, DHL, USPS or a local carrier equivalent, depending on your location. -
Please Note
By placing your order, you confirm that the shipping address provided is complete and correct. We are unable to reroute orders once they have entered production or shipped.
Didn't Receive Your Order?
We're here to help. Here's what to do:
- For digital orders: check your spam, junk, and promotions folders first. If your portrait still isn't there, contact us and we'll resend it right away.
- For canvas orders: use the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email. If delivery is delayed beyond the estimated window, get in touch and we'll look into it for you.
A Note on Disputes
If anything goes wrong with your order, please reach out to us first at contact@dearportraits.com or via Facebook. We respond to all inquiries within 24 hours and will do everything we can to make it right. Payment disputes raised without prior contact may be contested with full delivery evidence, including timestamps, tracking data, and email delivery confirmations.
